As the prevalence of SRS continues to increase, misconceptions and challenges remain. Through this lecture, Mr. Paddick explores the fundamental tenets of SRS as well as potential areas of improvement, with a particular emphasis on homogeneity, gradient, margins, fractionation and dose rate effects. Attendees learned the origins of PCI (Paddick Conformity Index) & PGI (Gradient Index), reviewed the case against adding margins, and BED & benchmarking scenarios.
