This VMAT plan consists of six (6) arcs with collimators spaced 30 degrees apart (300, 330, 0, 30, 60, 90). Due to the large fraction size, additional arcs have minimal to no impact on treatment deliver time for this case. An optimization PTV was created to account for the desired dose gradient surrounding the spinal canal and the max dose constraint to the esophagus. While this plan wasn’t submitted to this plan study, this plan’s achieved score is better than 90% of the plans that were submitted.
